IT’S FRIDAY! IT’S FRIDAY!
Ok, so never before have I ever been happier to see Friday roll around than today. The job has been going great and I am learning far more than I ever thought I would which is fantastic. I should get the remainder of my client base by the end of today so I can only imagine what next week is going to be like.
The trainer at the gym is making me mega-sore, which I am hoping is going to be a definite good thing! So far he has me doing chest, triceps, biceps, back, shoulders and abs/core. Sunday I will finally get to the leg work and ass Usually, I am not quite so thrilled to be up at 5:30 (also known as O Dark Thirty) to go work out but if you’re not at the metro station here by a certain time then forget about parking. That’s motivation enough. Couples that along with some of the hottest guys I’ve seen in a long time working out next to you in the morning and you’ve got a good start to the day.
Today is finally 57/58 degrees and sunny so I predict a long lunch break outside. On the entertainment note, check out Subwaystate.com for A-Ron’s latest edition to his Guest-Room series. The Rex Monday over at Seanshow.net has posted his newest Fearless Kitchen mix set and it is really good, check it out.
And finally, for those moments at home where you feel like getting drunk but don’t feel like the drama of going out, check out Rubber Chicken Shots (from the Surreal Life on VH1)…its hilarious especially if you know anything about Chyna Doll.
Have a great weekend all!

Happy Monday:-)
Well, week number 3 with the new job has just begun. Still loving it so far! Today I actually got my first clients (three of them), with the remainder coming in on Friday. I’m definitely psyched! Sorry for overly excitement of the post, just happy to be where I am right now.
On another note, I figure new job, new commute, might as well just break other bad habits. So joined a gym a block away from the new job and hired a personal trainer. Granted I am not at all in bad shape just figured I could use the help packing some muscle back on. It helps that the trainer is a cutie.
All that said, I owe a lot to my buddy Aaron. He’s done quite a bit for me lately in so many ways.
Till later…

The day has come. After much prodding from friends, I have finally broken down and made a blog. While I have no idea what I will put in it or if anyone will be interested in reading it other than my sis, here it is.
Well, being that this is my first post Ill just get all caught up on the changes that have occurred in the past month. My dear (cute and musically talented) friend Aaron - his blog here - submitted my resume to his manager for a position in his department. Now, while this sometimes goes nowhere and occasionally works, I quickly got a call for an interview and accepted the job 2 days later. WOOHOO!
Then the drama starts. I resigned from my old position with a 2 ½ weeks notice and was “informed” that I would not be paid for vacation time because they “deserved” a longer notice. I’m sorry but 2 ½ weeks is ample time for a notice; 2 flat weeks is industry standard. So I assume that it was taken very personal by my then boss and money/vacation was the only way he could retaliate. Regardless of which, it made for a very long 2 ½ weeks. And yes, in the end I was paid.
So new job starts; I can now metro to work which is fantastic (though the ride home on the metro is super-packed). In less than 2 years I have put over 45K miles on my car, so I am definitely psyched for public transportation! Though, I do have to admit…you see some rather strange people on the Metro sometimes. Like for example, the 45+ year old man who was berating the 19yo Asian fellow for standing too close to him. Very mature.
Aside from the free entertainment on the Metro, the job here has been great! I have met more people than I will ever be able to remember names for and have been in more meetings in the past week than I have most of my whole life. Great environment, learning new things, progressing myself nicely, and definitely happy.
A side note: By the way, if anyone is interested, Aaron (Subway State) DJs on Thursday nights at Science Club with his DJ partner - hottie with tattoos – Sean (his blog here) collectively called The Vodka Manx. Check them out, they are awesome.
